Faithfully Friends

Faithfully Friends, those who we can miss for months or even years and when you meet again it is like no time has passed. The friends who have touched our minds and molded our laughter time and time again.

A quote I remember from a while back:
Friendship is like peeing in your pants: everyone notices but only you get the warm feeling. -unknown-

This weekend I was able to reunite with friends who have been faithfully full of advice, ice cream and silliness.

Meet CJ.

She's the girl you never expected to meet and then you realize she has become a vital component of your life. From introducing me to the Twilight series, bar buddies, inspiring goofy photography, and to being long distance pen pals we have become great friends. and because I couldn't resist...a quote from last night, "Jordan. Like Michael Jordan, yes."

Meet MK.

Do I really have to say more?

Laid back, a gigglehans, maker of the best hamburgers, and the only girl I want to be with on a morning walk to class. Seriously.

and then....

Brandon

The man who understands that going out with the girls is a form of a therapy and should only be encouraged.

Introductions

Dear readers,

Meet Arlene Perry, the cute old lady who told me to be the hero of my life's story, just like the ones in my bedtime stories.

Some of my favorites:

The Wind in the Willows
Paddington Bear
Winnie and the Pooh
The Moomintrolls
Dr. Dolittle

What are some of your favorite fairytale heroes?

This is where I am from right there in the west
Fun fact: I have only one birthmark and it is of Illinois.

I will officially graduate from Michigan State University with a degree in Education after experiencing five months in Australia (starting February 2010). I have worked with children my whole life and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I hope to work in inner city schools and a non-profit such as Make a Wish Foundation.

I love creativity, exploration, and curiosity such as this piece of art.

As a child I wanted to be the first female President and in my spare time an painter, a dancer, and a frequent visitor of the Chicago Opera house. I am a big dreamer with many adventures ahead of me.

Well from the childhood dreams of mine, I say hello, I am glad we have been introduced.

Cheers,
Becca
